"If everyone is moving forward together then success takes care of itself." - Henry Ford
Showing every teammate and opposing player respect, shows character. When you help a teammate improve, you help the team improve. There is no place on the field for negative comments. Support each other and remember to keep your heads up when dribbling and look for open teammates & PASS!
Never stop fighting. Stay aware of the ball even when it isn't in your zone. Defenders should be following the play with their eyes and their bodies while staying in their own part of the field when the ball is on the opposite side of the field. You are always in the game and prepared for the ball to come to you, keep your feet moving. Everybody has a job to do even the guys on the bench should have their heads in the game and be following the play. If you can't recover the ball from the attacker and pass it to a teammate, kick it out.
I promise to let you play without interruption if you can work together. I want you to be in the state of "flow" when you are one with your team and the game. I believe strategy, technique and fitness belong in practice. The game is the time for all of those things practiced to come together in a creative way and become art.
